Glossary

Announcement: a notice you send to members' inboxes. See Announcements.

Assignment (booking): a member booked into a slot on a seat for some dates. See Assign a slot.

Checkout methods: the ways members can pay when they book on your site: cash at desk, Dynamic QR or a payment gateway. See How online payments work.

Coupon: a discount code, such as WELCOME10. See Coupons.

Custom domain: an address you own, such as yourlibrary.com, connected to your library website. See Custom domain.

Dynamic QR (UPI QR): a QR code made for each payment, for the exact amount, paid straight into your UPI ID. See Dynamic UPI QR.

Hourly booking: booking a seat by the hour instead of by slot. See Hourly booking.

Library (organization): your study space in Librarify. One login can run several libraries.

Locker: a locker you rent to a member by the month, separate from seats. See Lockers.

Member (student, user): someone who uses your library and books seats.

Moderator, Admin: staff roles. See Roles and permissions.

Owner: the person who created the library and pays for its plan.

Payment gateway: Razorpay or Cashfree, connected to your own account so members can pay online. See Razorpay, Cashfree.

Plan (subscription): what you pay Librarify for each library. See Buy a plan.

Receipt (bill): a record of what a member was charged and paid. See Receipts.

Seat (desk): a place a member can book. See Create seats.

Seat category and seat tag: ways to group seats, for example by floor or by type with its own price. See Categories and tags.

Security deposit: a one-time refundable amount charged with a member's first locker rental. See Locker settings.

Slot (shift, batch): a time window members book, such as 09:00 to 14:00. See Create slots.

Subdomain: the first part of your free library address, such as mylibrary in mylibrary.librarify.in.

UID (member ID): the ID shown on each member, made from your ID pattern. See Member ID pattern.

Webhook: a link that lets Razorpay or Cashfree tell Librarify about payments straight away. See Connect Razorpay.
